The Palazzetta del Vescovo is a small luxury and charming historical Residence, close to the wonderful town of Todi, located in a special place that allows panoramic views of the beautiful Umbrian countryside.
Inside two hectares of land, the luxury house is surrounded by olive groves and wine vineyards, with blooming gardens enchanted by Mediterranean scents.


A typical example of traditional architecture it is built with stone-faced walls and refined internally with handmade terra cotta and ceiling walnut wood beams. The extreme attention to detail, the warm tones of colors, the antique furniture, the Montefalco linens used for decoration, the refined bed linens of satin, contribute to create a cozy and exclusive atmosphere for every room.
The nine rooms, two of which are suites, provide wide and at the same time intimate, refined, and informal spaces. Among its features there is the infinity swimming pool situated in a unique position dominating the valley of Tevere, which provide our guests with a spectacular view and exceptional sensory impressions.

Paola and Stefano Zocchi will be there to welcome you; after working as managers in Multinational companies ,they’ve been captured by the beauty of the countryside, by the cultural and artistic richness and by the kindness of the people and decided to establish their residence right here.

Palazzetta del Vescovo is the ideal place to live a unique experience, in a familiar warm setting where is possible to rediscover ancient flavors and lost emotions.

The History
The building has been the summer residence of Todi’s bishops, in particular Ludovico Gualtiero who hired the architect Ludovico Gattelli from Todi in 1763 to built it. Next to the Relais there is the small church dedicated to San Girolamo. After two years of precise and respectful renovation, put into the hands of expert artisans from the area, the current owners transformed it into an exclusive luxury country house that combine the original spirit of it with the most actual comforts.

The Rooms
Elegance, comfort and tranquility are the distinctive elements of the nine large and prestigious rooms situated on the two levels of the Palazzetta del Vescovo.

Each room has a unique decorating style, refined with antique furniture and the most modern comforts: satellite TV, air conditioning, Internet broadband connection, Lcd TV screen, direct telephone service, safe and they all have panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
The attention to detail, the refined bed linens in cotton satin, the allergy-proof pillows, the precious curtains and the traditional bed covers from Montefalco will make you feel at home, providing the warmth, the intimacy and the privacy of your own residence.
The large en-suite bathrooms, all with windows, are decorated with mosaics, precious marble and they are equipped with all the comfort: prestigious cotton towels, robes, make-up mirror, slippers and hair dryer.

The types of rooms:
Suites (38 mq): are large with separated bath and shower. Superior Rooms (36mq): have baths with large bathtubs and shower. Romantic Rooms (28mq): three rooms.One is dedicated to people with special needs and with external access and private terrace, have big sized showers

Where we are
The Palazzetta del Vescovo represents an ideal starting base to go and discover the most important historical towns such as Perugia, Assisi, Orvieto, Todi, Gubbio and hill villages in nearby Tuscany ( Cortona and Siena). In the vicinity there also numerous treasures to be discover like Bevagna, Monte Castello di Vibio with the smallest theatre in the world and Montefalco homeland of the Sagrantino wine.
