Hotel Royal is situated in the very center of the city, close to all important city sites, like the Diocletian palace ( 200 m of distance from the hotel), which earned its place to be the symbol of the city of Split. Diocletian Palace is the largest and best preserved late antique palace in the world. The old market called Pazar is also situated some 100 meters from the Royal.
