Reopened in February 2000 as The Heritage Hanmer Springs, and situated in the glorious alpine setting of Hanmer Springs, 90 minutes (by car) north of Christchurch, this unique spa resort is the perfect retreat for rest, relaxation and replenishment. The completely restored former Hanmer Lodge is home to 38 rooms. In the delightfully landscaped grounds there are an additional 16 Garden Deluxe rooms and 11 fully self contained three bedroom Villas, designed to offer privacy and seclusion.
