Europe is the second smallest of the 7 continents in terms of surface area. It holds a population of almost 750 million people spread out over 50 countries with over 200 languages spoken. There are several different religions practiced over Europe concentrated in different areas and they include Roman Catholicism, Orthodox Christianity, Protestantism, Shia Islam, Sunni Islam, and Buddhism.
Although there is some dispute as to where the borders are of the European continent, many agree that the divide between it and Asia to the south occur at the Ural Mountains. Other borders include the Causacus Mountains, the Caspian Sea and the Mediterranean Sea to the south and the Black Sea that is more towards the south east. There are two oceans that surround it which are the Arctic Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean.
