Asia is the world’s largest continent and it holds the world’s largest population. There approximately 4 billion people living within its coastlines mostly located in the northern and eastern parts. Asia is made up of 47 countries which speak a large diversity of languages which are counted to be over 2000. There are a number of different religions practices in this continent including Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity, Islam amongst others.
Depending on the geographer, there are different boundaries that are given to Asia as a continent. Some see it connected with Europe while others see it completely separate. With the latter theory, the main question is which continent to include Turkey in. Being bordered by both the Indian Ocean and the Pacific Ocean, many regions have benefitted from the ports that are built along the coasts.
